Level 3 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
This qualification allows learners to acquire the knowledge of a number of essential areas of working in adult social care. The Certificate in preparing to work in Adult Social Care is part of the Heath and Social Care Apprenticeship Framework.
This qualification is aimed at anyone interested in or starting out in a career in adult social care.
Level 3 is ideal if you are working in Adult Social Care, or have basic knowledge of the area, and are looking to build on your learning.
Level 3 comprises nine mandatory units, including:
- Principles of safeguarding and protection in health and social care
- Understanding how to handle information in social care settings
- Principles of diversity, equality and inclusion in adult social care settings.
