Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
This qualification allows learners to acquire the knowledge of a number of essential areas of working in adult social care. The Certificate in preparing to work in Adult Social Care is part of the Heath and Social Care Apprenticeship Framework.
This qualification is aimed at anyone interested in or starting out in a career in adult social care.
Level 2 will suit you if you are considering, or starting out in, a career in Adult Social Care, and you need to develop your basic knowledge.
This qualification comprises nine mandatory units, including:
- Understanding the role of the social care worker
- Understanding health and safety in social care settings
- Understanding person-centred approaches in adult social care settings.
